Tile Blitz may not be one of the most popular games in the Pocket7Games app, but that might just give you even better chances to win real cash. This game by Pocket7Games is inspired by a moving company’s favorite game: Tetris. By building rows and columns of shapes, you can quickly turn blocks into points, and points into money.
Just as with all other Pocket7Games, you compete against other players, choosing your own stake. By competing in Tile Blitz tournaments, you can win all sorts of cash prizes in this game, up to hundreds of dollars. Below, I’ll take you through how the game is played and give you four strategies that will help you win the game and earn money with Tile Blitz.

How to play Tile Blitz with Pocket7Games
In short, you play Tile Blitz on a 10×10 playing field, where the game gives you three differently shaped blocks. You can place these blocks wherever you want. The biggest block is a solid 3×3 block, but in that 9-block space, all sorts of shapes can come by. And just as in the inspiration Tetris, once you fill a row or column, you clear the space. By clearing rows, you create more space to place blocks and you rack up points.
You get a small amount of points for each block you place, and more points for clearing a row or column. Clearing multiple rows or columns at the same time gives you more points, as does a ‘streak’ (placing shapes that result in subsequent clearings).

Strategies to help you win real money with Tile Blitz
The game seems simple enough, but is surprisingly hard to master. No other game in the Pocket7Games app will have you run out of moves before you run out of time (although 21 Gold might be a close second). To keep you in the game as long as possible and increase your chance of winning cash prizes with Tile Blitz, keep these four strategies in mind.
- Focus on any combination
Remember in Tetris, how you’d stack up everything on one side and leave a slot open for the long shape so you could clear four rows at a time? Yeah, don’t do that. Just focus on clearing rows. What you really need is space so you can keep placing the bigger shapes that will come your way. The risk of running out of space is much greater than your opponent getting a few bonus points by clearing multiple rows. Do it if you can, but don’t play towards it.
- Big blocks first
Tile Blitz gives you three shapes at a time. It doesn’t tell you whether you can place them or not (which stayed a surprise for longer than I care to admit). As long as you have the room, place the biggest block first. I can’t count the number of times I’ve placed a smaller block, ran out of room, and noticed how I should have put the bigger block first.

- Odd blocks first
Related to the second strategy, make sure you place the trickier blocks first. A ‘Z’ shape has the same amount of blocks as a straight line, but can be a lot harder to place. Make sure you’ve got room for the odd shapes before you tuck away the easy ones.
- Focus on space, not time
Even though you compete with someone else in Tile Blitz, you’re your own worst enemy. Or, your spatial skills are. Your first priority is not running out of moves. It’s better to spend a few seconds figuring out your best moves than to make a mistake and rob yourself of a minute of time.
